The "Red Belly" paint scheme indicates it would have a 1961 or 1962 serial number. 1961 SN start with AP1001. 1962 SN start with AR1001. Some 1961 models were 6-volt and some 12-volt. All 1962 models were 12 volt. Circa early 60's. Ron Dick2 wrote on Saturday, February 12, 2011 (PST): Looks like 4020 is right. Cockshutt began distributing Fiat411 utility tractors in late 1959, accoding to the Cockshutt book. However, the picture in the book doesn't look like the one that you have, so there must have been some sheet metal changes later to make it look more like a Cockshutt. In 1961 the tractor was painted "Harvest Gold" with a "Red Belly" configuration. Model designation was 411R for Diesel and 411RG for gas engine tractors. Apparently Cockshutt's main interest was to have a small Diesel engine utility tractor to sell.
